Louisiana Rental Dealers to Attend New Orleans NRC Event

As the host association of this great state, we welcome all industry leaders and vendors to the city of New Orleans.

On Saturday March 7, the Nationwide Rental Coalition (NRC), a trade group supporting rent-to-own industry legislative initiatives at the state and federal level, will be hosting a day long event with meetings and networking at the Hilton Riverside Hotel in New Orleans. All participants are invited to join in for a leisurely evening dinner cruise aboard the Natchez riverboat. A special guest has been invited to speak at the cocktail reception aboard the Natchez. The meeting will be hosted by the Nationwide Rental Coalition, Nationwide Southwest and RentDirect Nationwide.

The day will begin with state association meetings in the morning and a general session in the afternoon. LRDA, the Louisiana state association has already committed to holding their state association meeting on this day. Jeff White, LRDA president and owner of Rent One has this to say about this exciting event. The general session will be led by Rent-to-Own national leaders who will present on timely legislative and industry updates. Honored guests have been invited to participate and speak at all of the events.

"New Orleans is a great venue for having an industry event of this size and importance. The NRC is a tool that all state associations can utilize to strengthen their organization." said Dennis Willich, CEO of Nationwide Southwest.

In the evening, a dinner cruise has been scheduled aboard the historic Natchez Riverboat along the Mississippi. Rent-to-Own dealers, vendors, industry leaders, press, and honored guests will be in attendance to enjoy a night of networking, dinner, the Creole culture and the sounds of jazz.

"Instead of killing two birds with one stone, this event is designed to kill an entire flock with one stone," said Willich. "Where else can you multi-task by having meetings, networking, and buying product, while saving time and money? The NRC wants rental dealers and vendors to maximize their time and efforts in the best interests of their companies."

Never before has there been an opportunity to have all state association meetings being conducted simultaneously, at the same venue. After all of the individual state association meetings, a consolidated state associations' event will allow all of the participants to network and share ideas and legislative goals."

The NRC meeting is being held one day before the kickoff for PrimeTime! by Nationwide, a member exclusive bi-annual buying show and conference at the New Orleans Convention Center.
